A fully qualified shipwright since 1977, Mark ran a
successful Sydney based marine services
business since 1980. Mark Humphery Shipwrights Pty
Ltd employed a team of 12 people, including six
shipwrights & apprentices, a spray painter & general
sliphands.
During
that time he carried out restoration and worked on
yachts and cruisers, painting and general maintenance
and has worked on timber, fibreglass and steel boats.
Mark Humphery Shipwrights is a Level-One member of the Boating
Industry Association & the
Shipwrights and Boatbuilders Association of New
South Wales.
After becoming a qualified Marine Surveyor in 1999,
Mark has been doing marine pre-purchase surveys and
re-insurance surveys.
Mark's vast experience as a shipwright
enables a thorough and professional inspection to be
done. Also, Mark can give an estimate on the costs
of any rectification needed which can be used as a
bargaining tool if needed. This can off-set the
cost of the survey, and so can save you both time and
money.
